- You write production-ready code that is well-tested, easy to follow and maintain
- You identify and deal with edge and error cases
- You use tests to prove out solutions, provide a shield against regressions and a way into the code for other developers
- You make good architectural decisions aligned with the service architecture already in place
- You’re able to identify and mitigate against potential security vulnerabilities

- You help identify and break up work into right-sized tasks for you and colleagues working on the same feature
- You help with prioritisation and estimation of work
- You’re able to work autonomously but communicate well with the team to overcome challenges and uncertainty when needed
