Responsibilities:
- Acting as a member of a distributed QA Scrum team, collaborating with other QA and Dev teams.
- Defining and executing manual functional and system tests (including complex setups), opening/validating defects, planning and reporting activities.
- Analyzing product features and creating testing plans.
- Possibility to learn automated testing frameworks and write automated tests in Python.
Skills (must have):
- At least one year’s experience in manual or automated testing of a software product.
- Experience in analyzing large and diverse systems; understanding QA processes and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of networking, Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Upper-Intermediate level of written and verbal English communication skills.
- Great team skills, ability to work with customers and teammates.
Nice to have (optional):
- Basic knowledge of storage technologies, virtualization, administering IT infrastructure.
- Basic knowledge of Python and automation frameworks is an advantage.
- Experience with tools like Jira, QTest, Jenkins, GitHub.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or any related field of study.
