Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience in commercial development as an Automation QA Engineer;
Strong Python skills (development experience is a big plus);
Knowledge of modern automation solution patterns;
Understanding of Virtualization;
Understanding of how networks are working;
Strong knowledge of the different types of tests (unit, contract, end to end, functional, regression);
Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and how to integrate automated testing;
Experience using Docker Containers is a plus;
Strong experience using Git (GitLab is a plus);
Ability to propose new automated testing methods and be able to develop a testing process from conception to implementation;
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills for effective communication.

Responsibilities:

Write unit and integration tests;
Work with containers and virtual machines, networking;
Maintain and update existing automation testing solutions;
Create, review and maintain automation testing solutions;
Cooperate with internal teams to identify system requirements;
Improve test framework architecture and test coverage on the web, mobile apps, microservices, and APIs;
Collaborate across Product and Engineering to shift testing left;
Implement best practices in testing automation;
Mentor engineers/QA analysts to grow/train their automation skills;
Collaborate with developers and QA analysts on how to improve the tools, test suites, and frameworks;
Using the KPIs we have implemented for measuring testing efforts, follow and improve the test strategy in your product perimeter;
Provide validation and support for other cross-team projects intersecting with your product perimeter.
