Description:

The client develops a healthcare app to offer more accessible pain-relief solutions for different situations by enabling practitioners and therapists to remotely prescribe and monitor care plans, and communicate with their patients through chat and video. Over 100 practitioners in Sweden, Spain, and Iceland are using the system and it’s becoming a crucial part of providing quality digital health care.

They already have a driven and friendly team in Kyiv and now are looking to strengthen it with a Senior Android Developer. If you’re motivated by a social mission and want to take full responsibility for the Android part of development, we are definitely a good match for each other.

In our collaboration model, you will work and communicate directly with the development team on the client-side.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the Android development
Improve the existing solutions and develop new features based on the roadmap provided by CTO and CPO
Take part in the ideation process to further improve the solution
Actively participate in retros and continuously improve the working process
Keep detailed documentation, plan technical debt, do time estimation, and align with a roadmap
A further plan is to recruit more Android developers and you will be an essential part of building and leading that team.

What we’re looking for

At least 4 years of experience as an Android Developer
Java & Kotlin proficiency
A close understanding of Zeplin and Jira
Experience with writing your own technical tasks based on epics & stories
Team player who can also work quite independently
Good level of English (both spoken and written)
Great to have an eye for details, skills to create smooth flows, and take pride in your work.
